The Insects were out Today

We are so fortunate to have had this amazing spell of weather. Being isolated...but being able to be outside makes it so much easier. I spent a few hours in the garden this afternoon...it hasn't looked this good in March (or April or May!) ever! And the insects came out today! The sky was as blue as can be, the temps in the mid-60's (18 C), and it truly looked like the first day of spring.

This unknown fly was enjoying the Euphorbia in my big perennial garden which is now in full bloom. There were some other bees and flies around but they weren't interested in posing.

Another stunning couple of days and then we're back into more typical spring weather with showers every day.
