Horsing Around

My son woke up feeling a bit under the weather, so he got to stay home today. His legs hurt so much he couldn't walk, opting to crawl everywhere, even outside to visit with the horses. As he sat in the sunshine on this brilliantly warm day, he listened to the birds chirping, felt the light breeze against his face, took in the sweet earthy smell, and declared that he needed a wheel chair.

Since his mother flat out vetoed the wheelchair idea, he stiffly hobbled off to throw stones. I went off to capture this blip ...horses are very curious 'kids' themselves.
