SOB Volleyball-Day 3

I normally concentrate on getting defense photos (see yesterday's entry) as that is the part of the game I really appreciate (which might have something to do with my lack of height) and like to capture. Some clients demand a more offensive minded approach. I shot Mike last year and remembered he was a great hitter/blocker. I brought my stepladder this year so I could get up even with the net. This high angle really showcased how far Mike gets over the net with his block and caught this stuff in all its glory. Photos like this do not come along very often, probably because there are not many blocks that cause the ball to go straight down like this one did.
