Beach Walkers

I have been absent from Blip for a month or two for a variety of reasons. One being eye surgery that didn’t go as it should have and I let it get at me. It’s never going to improve so need to attack life with what I have. Good sight in my right eye which is NOT my camera eye,however am learning to cope with the Sony .
This morning I walked on the beach early at the Moeraki Boulders, cold but bracing as the sun was trying to poke through the clouds. Stopped and talked to this couple from Germany at a distance of course.
Yesterday was at my brother in laws funeral over in the Maniatoto. It was held in the open at the cemetery because of Covid virus. Worked out well considering, warm and windy, sandwiches and refreshments under the trees in the shade. Wouldn’t be so good in the winter as there winter temperatures are very low but folk will work it out as we progress down this ghastly track.
Not sure how I am going to cope, find it all depressing and living alone doesn’t help. Maybe getting back into blip will help
