Afternoon in the Bush
We went exploring at the back of the farm today, the part that was burnt out in the bushfires.
It is transformed.
The trees are sprouting new leaves (first extra) and the creek took a new course after 400ml rain and is unrecognisable.
With all the undergrowth and rubbish burnt out we could get to areas for the first time in the 50 years the farm has been in the family.
The main blip is a little patch of fungi I found.
The second extra is a rather cute little black snake, unfortunately much nearer to the house.
