The End of The Line

It’s not been a nice day. We have all had many ‘moments’. Deep breathing and distraction have been the order of the day. We packed up and labelled the children’s belongings and left them in the reception area to be picked up by their parents. The 4 children who were in had a good day. We did painting, play dough and puzzles. I took them outside and they played in the woods and climbed the trees. I tried to keep their day as normal as possible, under the most abnormal of circumstances.
It’s just so bloody sad.
