Two of a kind

What a wonderful day! You'd never think that the world was in turmoil!

We walked down to the town this morning to buy a paper and strolled along the seafront and round the North Pier. Quite a few folk about enjoying the wall-to-wall sunshine. Rather than another bay view, CalMac ferry or similar I decided on these gulls for a change. At least they don't have to worry about keeping their distance!

Did some more 'up on the bank' gardening this afternoon - one of the loveliest days for a while - then spent half an hour sitting in the sun with a cup of tea and Jane Austen! No coat needed today!
