Through the pebble
We got up at the crack of dawn to go to Sainsburys food shopping, plenty fresh veg, meat, no milk no dry goods.
As it was such a nice day we decided to venture out, ended up at Bempton cliffs(chalk cliffs home to England largest populations of seabirds - see extra photo) After a bracing walk along the headland we returned to the car for coffee and hot cross buns.
Journeying onwards to Danes Dyke ( one of the finest stretches of coastland on the East Coast) we walked down a steep hill and came to a pebble beach with high chalk cliffs. The stones and pebbles ( many with holes through them) were pure white.
We left the beach and followed one of many trails through the woods, whilst walking in the woods we heard the unmistakable hammering of a woodpecker. Back to the car with a couple of very tired dogs,
We returned home to enjoy Mr PC’s homemade fish chips and mushy peas
