A long walk

I started the day with a four mile walk. Along the old railway track, through the houses, through the woods, over Langshot then back through the village and home. Lovely.

Walked Hugo a couple of times and summoned the courage to let him off the lead the second time. He absolutely loved it. He ran and ran round and round chasing his ball and generally loving life. He's an absolute joy.

Listened to the latest from the government while making dinner. I wonder if those already laid off can be helped. Here's hoping.
