Village Life

I walked down the village this afternoon for another one of my zoomy shots. I'm rather liking these and it isn't quite as simple as turning the lens - a bit more challenging. The key is good light on a suitable subject.

This old pub, The Red Lion, was originally a farm house with the sheep kept in one half of the building, so a bit of history.

I can't believe what I'm seeing and hearing on the news. It's all crazy. I am usually optimistic but very concerned for my children and grandchildren. Fortunately they are all clever and resilient, but times may be tough. Maybe this allows us a breathing space to evaluate what's really important.
