La vie est belle ...

... les circonstances sont exceptionnelles.

Indeed a special birthday under lockdown conditions. We had to cancel the family invitation planned for tomorrow. Therefore have to eat the salmon we brought from Finland on our own and have no guests to share the bottle of Champagne this evening :-)
I know, really nothing to complain ...

We try to make the best out of the situation. Instead of commuting we had a Yoga session. For me home office all day and very busy. Many conf calls, needing a lot of concentration and creating hot ears from the earbuds.

Life goes on in a new normality. Besides direct social contacts we have all we need. The local supermarket has almost everything, the infrastructure is working and the postal service has been allowed to deliver online purchases 7 days a week. I guess lockdown is easier in a rural environment.

The Swiss Government passed new informations and rules today. We don‘t have a full lockdown, but now every group of more than five people in public will be fined 100 Swiss Francs (per person I guess). Anyway, in office the rule is a max. of 3 people in a meeting room, and only if really needed. Also announced is an immediate economic support package of approx 40 billion CHF, to avoid the collapse of the economic structures and giving at least some hope to all people which are currently suffering from a financial perspective. We‘ll need all the struggling businesses, as soon as the situation will become better again.
