where there was shelter from an icy wind, although temperatures were up at 8C. Last time I did this walk it was almost impossible because of the bracken.
There were Crested Tits in the Pines, Oystercatchers on the loch shore, Mountain Hares on the moor and the Common Gulls are back inland to breed. It's Spring!
