Waiting for a Prince
Annual village road diversion has now been in force for a week. Toad, frog & amphibian crossing with the 20cm high fences built on the field side to catch them as they move to the lakes on the other side of the road.
Buckets buried in the ground along the fence are emptied twice a day. The cold weather of the last few days had stopped the initial mass migration. Our garden pond is beginning to receive its first guests.
