Empty Road

Not nearly as many cars driving by lately, but I'm not missing the noise pollution. Sleep comes easily when there aren't people opening up their engines on the road in the wee hours of the morning. I've also seen more rabbits around my house and I watch them hop around from our window. It's relaxing to see nature coming back, although the reason for it is disheartening. I wish it could always be like this - not the virus, but the peace outside. Looking outside at a mostly empty highway for once that has always been bustling gives me a lot of weird feelings. I'd like to see animals cross it without danger for once.
