Everything changed yesterday as far as I'm concerned.  After obsessively watching reports from Italy and the computer modelling about how the virus spreads, the gravity and immediacy sunk in and I've committed our family to staying put as far as possible, and if they have to go out, social distancing like mad...

Ben is still at Ellie's house - but will come back tomorrow.

Martin (who has refused to do any sort of panic buying), reported that the supermarket late morning was quiet, but there was food on the shelves and we won't be going hungry.

The gyms are shut and so to keep the boys sane I've promised to tackle the garage so that they can do 'gym stuff' in there.  It's a very big job but I've started it.
