Holding On

This morning on my way to work I decided to stop at Hawesend on Derwent Water, though the conditions were not great there was a lot of falling snow which came in handy to create this atmosphere. Before I walked on and took this shot I decided to get a few off the pier. Just as I was walking onto the pier I thought to myself I better set my camera up on the shore rather than on the pier. Well, that didn't go so great for me... my lens hood is now sitting somewhere at the bottom of the lake. Buggering Heck!

Anyways thanks for all the nice comments and favorites, stars over the past year. I've enjoyed them almost as much as I enjoy taking the photos.
