Beautiful day

My husband and I took a walk this morning. There were quite a few golfers enjoying the luxury of open space of the local golf club and keeping their distance from each other. If only we could afford to join... Quite a few walkers were out too, everyone giving each other a wide berth! It was a glorious day and the walk did us both good. The birds were singing and we noticed how many of the trees are already in bloom.

I had to keep an eye on a few work related matters throughout the day but I made time for a long chat with Mum and to check in on a few friends and neighbours who are alone. As it was so sunny we got the gas BBQ going and had some burgers for dinner. A nice treat.
