Thank God for the great outdoors

I grew up in Los Angeles and then lived in the Seattle area for 20 years. Five years ago, we moved out of a metropolitan area to a city along the Columbia River in Central Washington State. I have been feeling really grateful to be living here. The trailhead for this hike was but 10 minutes from my house. Living here, I can get away from people, can hear the bird sings and, for now, we have no diagnosed cases of the Covid virus.

So grateful for the out of doors because it is providing me peace during this difficult time.
