Oatcakes

Did a shopping trip to V & C and Tattie Shaw's (no queues, pasta and tinned tomatoes available at both venues) and called in at the Vaults on the way home as we had run out of whisky. Was delighted to find that they still had a bottle of particular Linkwood cask that we'd enjoyed very much in the autumn (but had assumed long gone). Finally got round to making a fresh batch of oatcakes. Mmmm.

M & S came across the Links for an evening at ours (M had suggested going to the Vaults, but we thought we would be better keeping interactions to the minimum). We had a delicious meal (D's famous pasta with lamb balls) and drank somewhat. A very enjoyable evening, albeit with a sort of Last Supper feel about it.
