Not a tortured metaphor about light

The lampshade is from John Lewis (ooh, shiny inside), but the lamp stand was bought by my grandmother in the 1960s from Pugh's in Llanelli. Dad rewired it the other day, and I managed to find the only bayonet bulb in my possession. 

It makes me happy that I have it in my home.
