I like tortoises, especially giant ones.
They're very cute in a wrinkly, disgruntled way. I like the way they are grumpy and solitary and yet seemingly wise and all knowing.

It's probably this that also makes them remind me of my Grandad too.

So I liked this wise old Grandad tortoise I saw down at the garden centre, departing his wisdom to the young pup next to him who doesn't seem to be interested in what the old timer has to say! :)
