Quiet, But Not Quiet Enough

It was such a busy day, didn't really stop until about 8pm.  There are so many different strands of things to consider and people to join up.  But we are getting there.  So many people want to help which is wonderful, and it's a matter of trying to slot people into areas that work well for them and make sure that any one in a vulnerable group is not in a position of multiple points of contact. Luckily there is plenty of remote working that needs doing.  K who is co-ordinating helpers/those in need in this part of Mull, is a powerhouse, thank goodness we have her here.

All sorts of issues pop up, for example, we heard that other islands are having problems with food and medicine supply because the delivery drivers have nowhere to stay.  K has done a shout out here now, so think that should be covered.  But until you're in that situation you just don't realise it could be a problem.

The title of this blip refers to the fact there are still tourists wandering about and campervans, see extra, and - I was appalled to see a vacancy sign at one of the self catering set ups on the road into Tobermory.  I won't name names, but what are they thinking?  I am very much hoping it isn't there today.
