Rush Hour (or Going Nowhere Fast)
Two things have defined urban China over the past decade, construction and cars. All the buildings on the right-hand of this picture were not here at the turn of the century and this road, Nanchang's main road (Ba Yi Avenue), would've been full of bikes, a few buses and some taxis. Now it is virtually all private cars and grid-lock is the result.
