Today may have been my last chance for a while so I had a lovely long walk in the woods with Barns.  We saw a herd of deer - well, the back ends of them anyway.  I was unfortunately a bit loud with my training commands.  
I was trying to get a nice one of Barns - 'Barney sit, sit, sit, SIT!'  (a lot of work still to do...) - then I looked up and saw lots of white bums bobbing away from us.  They had been quite close...  Barns didn't see them either though and that's supposed to be his speciality, so I don't feel too bad. :-)
