Rhododendron

These are buds of the rhododendron that was in the background of my magnolia picture yesterday. We like it so much that we bought another one a few years ago! 
Another day in the garden as the weather is so nice, albeit rather cold. 
I now realise how much there is to do. I have split quite a lot of perennials and scattered them around the garden to give us some more colour in case we don't make it to the garden centre. 
I usually buy all my plants for pots and several others via the Lion's charity but I have had a letter saying that due to most of the volunteers being over 70 the delivery of plants is cancelled this year.

Our eldest son is an anaesthetist and lives 2 hours away and he is on nights at the moment, our daughter lives in New Zealand and our youngest son lives in Toulouse, but we have spoken to them all which is lovely :-)
