Playground

I'm not sure whether it was because it was quite late in the afternoon, or because people are beginning to listen to the government advice, but the children's playground was deserted when we went by.

Earlier in the afternoon we had spent some time in the garden.  I think we are going to be very grateful for our garden in the coming months, particularly if the government imposes a more severe lockdown.  We did a little bit of clearing and planting - a start to the work that needs to be done.

It was a gorgeous sunny day with something I don't ever recall seeing before here - a clear blue sky with not a single cloud - and not even a vapour trail.
