Mothers day
I think this will go down as a sub-optimal mothers day..
Started off very well with the youngest trotting into our bedroom for morning cuddles - and then the husband getting up, presenting me with three (yes, three!) bunches of flowers - with help from the eldest) and having coffee and alcohol free buck-fizz in bed! Lovely.
I took the eldest out just after 7am to get some pictures around the school - none of them are great, but this is the sum total of my pictures for the day.
Into work straight after breakfast, rescued by a call from the husband who had been out for over 2 hours with the boys and needed a lift home, then back to the office for me after grabbing some lunch.
In 48 hours we've come up with a 30 page booklet outlining how the teaching and pastoral care will be delivered for the next term - the teaching was the easy bit as the school has been planning that for about 3 weeks or more and has a full plan ready. I had to spend the day proofing, editing and beautifying....
The husband had a great day with the boys, who have been brilliant all weekend. Although the whole situation at the moment is so incredibly stressful, the thought of more family time is very nice. I bought a few supplies this evening, took a while to find any craft things and some websites have totally sold-out!
