Eagle season

As I was leaving my dad’s, I saw one of the eagles in the nest (extra) and then about a mile down the road I came over a rise and the mate was sitting in a tree eating something (and obviously annoyed with the interruption). 
I’m so happy they came back this year, but unfortunately they are getting ready to replace the bridge near their nest, so I will have to take an alternate route for a few months.  Maybe they will have to delay construction with everything that’s going on...
