Happiness is...

a soft rat to rest one's head upon!

Little Alfred has a bit of a sore ear today (he's prone to this), and he's been scratching it like mad. I've put a special ear cleaning/disinfectant fluid into each ear (which he hates every time I do it, poor dog) and hope that clears it up and soothes it. Otherwise, it's off to the vet we have to go. So he's been a bit quiet today - resting with his rat. It hasn't put him off his food though :-)
