Wanaka
It looks as if we have missed our opportunity to get home as the Covid-19 alert has gone to level 3 today and moves to level 4 on Wednesday which means every unnecessary service is closed and we believe the ferries will no longer be taking passengers but we are having a bit of trouble confirming that. We are in lock down for 28 days. We have got as far as Christchurch and as long as we can find somewhere to park our caravan we may stay put for the 28 days or longer if these measures don’t halt the spread of the virus. We still have very few cases in NZ - just over 100 - but our Government is trying to stop it in its tracks so it doesn’t get out of control.
