Today was a visit to Stoke and returning home we travelled via the Moutere Hill road.

Not long ago this view was hidden by a forestry block of very tall pinus radiata trees. At maturity the trees were harvested and now it looks as though the land is being excavated for a new housing subdivision.

Coronavirus
Another 36 cases of the virus have been confirmed, bringing the total to 102 today.
The Government lifted the alert level to 3, to be followed in 48 hours to level 4 for four weeks and maybe longer. Life is about to change in NZ - hopefully containing the spread of this virus.
