Huh Boy ...

Drat it all.  Last night as I was getting ready for bed, I suddenly realized that I had a deer tick embedded in my leg.  I must have "acquired" it while we were at our farm in Connecticut on Friday.  Upon trying to remove it, only the body came out, leaving the head in my leg.  More things to worry about.  Thankfully we have hydrogen peroxide and Neosporin (antibacterial ointment) here -- I just pray I haven't now contracted Lyme Disease.

Update:   Extra is another gross picture -- taken about 8 hours after the first ... looks to me like an ominous bruised-looking ring forming.  Still waiting to hear back from the doctor.
