Mono Monday: Manmade
ApolloFly is hosting the Mono Monday challenge this month and today's theme is 'manmade'. I'm not sure who made all the technology in this blip but it's safe to say it's created by a human brain and hand and not part of the natural world. Thanks ApolloFly.
And this is becoming part of my day. Here I am waiting for the Glasgow family to join me on screen so that I can see and speak to them and watch my baby grandson scoot about the floor. At 4pm I'll be doing it all over again with the girls. I've set up a remote meeting with friends on Thursday evening so that we can enjoy each others' company from the safety of our own homes. I'll be joining my yoga class this way tomorrow. Honestly thank goodness for this technology.
Read about and looked at the footage of people in crowded parks and on packed beaches yesterday. I'm starting to panic if I'm within about 20 feet of anyone else, never mind the advised 6 feet. I just don't understand it.
But then again I'm fortunate to have a comfortable home, with a garden, and access to places to walk safely distanced from other people. I don't have young children to entertain and reassure. I have only a little work to worry about and someone else worries about the logistics of it. If I were in a different position I might act differently, though I hope not.
Keep well everyone and keep on blipping.
