Now this one goes here... or is it here?

Every few years I do a bit of housekeeping in the office. MrsDB had decided that today was the day. Since the last unravel Ive added another iMac, new printers, scanners and other office add ons that I use as a publisher. Colour scanner calibration, USB hubs, card readers, external back-up hard drives, DVD writer, lights and printers.

Now I'm not very good at being tidy but as I was worried that I had a potential fire hazard building up under the office desks I had to get under and into it. First I identified all the redundant cables, quite a few! Then I had to unravel the bird's nest of a tangle that had developed unchecked. Then I colour coded all the various desktop instruments, et voila!

The result is very comforting to me. Just look how tidy it is. Every cable serves a purpose. MrsDB is happy, I am happy.

But I've just noticed an unconnected USB cable, now where did that come from? Or where does it go? Aw shoot, back I go under the bloody desk...
