Before and after

On our last outing before we started staying at home we bought some fence paint, ready for when the lockdown came.  It has been a nice couple of days so the fence was finally dry. It had been quite awkward painting it last summer when everything was in full leaf, so a freshen up was needed. I have uncovered the outdoor furniture as today it was warm enough to drink a cup of coffee in the sunshine. 

It was lovely to be out in the sunshine and hearing the birds singing. It certainly helps during this challenging time. I always appreciate our garden, even if we would love a slightly bigger one, and now we are so lucky to have our own outdoor space more than ever. 

On another note I cannot believe the pictures of people in parks and beaches this weekend.  The words “irresponsible and selfish” have been used a lot today!  The stats of how people can spread Covid-19 are super scary and I cannot believe these people who are being so reckless. We feel like we made the right decision to limit our outing when we did.
