Eeyorish behaviour, no social distancing here

A fascinating book called Watching the English by Kate Fox tries to identify the unique characteristics of the English as opposed to the Scots, Welsh, Irish or any other nationality you might care to mention. Sure, we share traits with many other cultures but there are some traits that are uniquely English.

Eeyorish was one of them. And boy are we living up to that quality nowadays. I'm writing this as Boris makes his 8.30 pm statement.

So we can't go out unless for food shopping and medicines and one daily bout of exercise either on our own or as part of the family that we live with. So, that's it with the allotment I suspect but I'm not sure.
