I was hoping for butterflies today and wasn't disappointed. Lovely to see commas and tortoiseshells flitting about in the beautiful sunshine near the blackthorn hedge.

I decided against posting my planned image of a hoverfly washing its 'hands'. Flies are very fastidious.
