Bursting out

Was up bright and early to get to my aunt’s house where the house clearance was due to start. These flowers in her garden were pushing out from all corners.

Once the men had arrived and work was underway, I decided to call in to a nearby garden centre to buy the necessary grow bags for the greenhouse and compost for the garden. If we are going to be housebound for a few weeks, I wanted to have something to work with. Little did I know......

Much of the rest of the day getting used to zoom and writing papers ahead of a virtual church meeting tomorrow. Into the mix came the PM’s announcement. Leaves people little time to sort out arrangements - even though I understand why it is being done.

It will be fascinating to see how long it takes before we are all ready to burst out of our homes.

We are very fortunate with a garden and space. If you are cooped up on the third floor in a north facing flat with limited scope to get out and about life is going to be tough.
