after another awful night, so much pain, nausea and exhaustion beefy took me down to the doc where the nurse practitioner gave me an anti-sickness and pain relief jab in my bum...which was sore!

she sent me into hospital where they put in my cannula and gave me a total rush of meds. felt amazing - the pain disappeared and I was high as a kite! I slept on the chair in the waiting room then a lovely man wheeled me downstairs for a ct scan. we didn’t say much but he was lovely. I slept some more then they moved me through to a bed in the ward for observation- saying my scan showed probable crohn’s disease. there was a lot of talk about surgery which panicked me quite a lot. well, I was in the surgical ward after all. beefy stayed as long as possible then I slept for ages, it was so good. very surreal being in hospital and on an IV drip. lots of folk being really ill with various stomach problems but mainly gall bladder issues. thank goodness they moved the big farting man away to another room.
