Self distancing in Cornwall

They're self distancing in the best possible way!  The beach was virtually deserted today.  It will probably be closed tomorrow. In one day Eden has closed, the Library, Heligan, Caerhays, and even Charlestown Harbour.  SO we can have one walk a day but the options of where to go are getting very limited!

What I don't understand is that yesterday Headteacher Boris said if we didn't pull our socks up and do better, try harder with self distancing, we would get detention.  Literally - at home.

He hasn't given us even a whole day to try harder and do better before he announced that we were all going to get double detention today!

Has anyone else noticed that ONE of the reasons given to us for having to suffer this detention is so that the NHS doesn't crack under the strain. Time is needed to get in more doctors and nurses and equipment.  If  the Conservatives hadn't spent the last 10 years letting the NHS run down so much, perhaps the NHS would have been more able to fight this virus from Day 1.
