A New Fashion Statement

Forget about torn jeans -- frayed shoe laces are the thing now. Who knows?

This happened on my hike yesterday. The two ends were tangled so much I had to cut the Gordian knot with my trusty little pocket knife to get my shoe off.

 Cynthia surprised me by pulling a large bag of laces from one of her secret stashes. All's well again.
