In the bleak midwinter

We made our way up to Derby this morning to visit Mr F's dad. It is still very cold outside and there is a lot of snow that hasn't yet thawed. We were very lucky with our journey, from a bird of prey point of view. We saw Kestrels, Buzzards and the highlight definitely had to be two Red Kites that were flying low over the A14....amazing!
