A Hint of Spring

I took myself out for a walk this afternoon, ever more attentive to ensure I tried to keep my distance from other people. Sometimes on the pavement it is impossible to maintain a distance of two metres as people pass each other. There were noticeably fewer people around than usual, and fewer cars also.

There is very little blossom out so far, as far as I have noticed. This tree is definitely an exception.

It may be Spring by the calendar, but it feels and looks more like winter.
