Thumb Sucking

The title refers to the two baby sculptures shown in today’s Blipfoto.

We purchased these sculptures; both clay, but one in "brick"and one in "wood". They were created by a final year graduate sculptor from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art.

I am ambivalent about them, especially the wood baby which appears to have been attacked by woodworm.

Pat displays them on her side of the bed sidetable.

This is our seventh day of "self isolation" and although we are staying within the "policies’’ walls there is much to do regarding having supplies and medications delivered.

However, there are many things we can do to occupy our time.

Dr Forster, our next door neighbour, has advised us, that his next door neighbour, a GP, has been diagnosed with Coronavirus and is staying at home and isolating himself from his family.

Another GP friend is now staying in his Campervan rather than the family house to safeguard his family.

We keep in touch with our "family" which circles the globe. Thank goodness for FaceTime and similar apps.

The Scottish Arts Club has setup a virtual Club, which looks like it could a great success.

There are various groups and I suggested a Photography and Digital Imaging Group. Within a few minutes, I was asked if I would like to be the moderator.

And I said Yes.
