Peacock #1

The first butterfly of the year for me. A morning in the garden was more than enough for us lightweights. We are not used to all this physical work and it’s not doing my back any good. I think we need more practice ;)

Not sure If it will be worth me counting butterflies this year as our garden does not attract many species at all having very few flowers and we won’t get much chance to add many this year I don’t think. But let’s see. maybe we will be let out in the summer and I can go and find some more. That’s something to look forward to. 

Oh, and I heard my first chiffchaff today - spring is definitely here.
