Bangkok - Old Tenements

One can see that these apartments, when new, must have had some charm about them.  The rear porches have an elegant style.  But the building has decayed over the decades.  As is the case in much of Asia, much less electricity is used because people simply air-dry their clothes on their porches.  Makes a lot of sense.
