Blue is the colour
Slept well again.....think its all these manual jobs in the garden tiring me out lol!!
Today spent some time in the summerhouse, interspersed with various jobs. Scrubbed the decking with a mix of boiling water, mild bleach & soda crystals...works wonders to get rid of all the moss & algae. Absolutely knackering, but worth it....burned off a good few calories I should think ;-) We also wire brushed the garden table, sunshade stand, birdbath and then gave the newer patio a good brushing with the same mix, before getting the hosepipe on all of it to rinse away the green sludge...needless to say, I was filthy and very wet by the end of it!!!
To follow on from the blue scilla flower yesterday, thought I would continue the blue theme, so today you have Brunnera macrophylla 'Jack Frost', just love this shade of blue, its flowers are so tiny!!
A salad with jacket potato and left over chicken curry over it for lunch.....liver & onion gravy with mash brocolli & carrots for dinner. Still feeling stuffed!
One of my camera club colleages has set up a virtual camera group on instagram, with weekly themes, so going to take part in that :-)
My SW tutor is going to use Zoom to run a weekly virtual Group to help us stay on track, so going to join in with that too :-)
We haven't been out, other than the garden since last Friday.....so far so good, spoke to our neighbours from a distance, but thats all.
Plenty of contact with family on line, everyone ok thankfully. Hope you are too?!
Its been a while since I recorded my walking, although somewhat curtailed now, to date :-
03-24/3 = 156,000 steps = 74 miles
Year to date = 252 miles
