Message on a bottle...

Monday again .
A lorry in to collect 5 AAx heifers we have sold for breeding . They are headed to Wales , hope they can speak Welsh !
Mrs F now working from home so dropped her car off at the garage to get the brake pads and discs changed.
I spent the day mixing and spreading slurry again. Whilst setting up the water pump down at the burn , spotted this bottle in the mud. It must be a fair age as it’s a VAT 69 whisky bottle . I wonder who drank the contents ?
The TV tonight was enough to drive you to drink. The country in lock down. Unfortunately in this job it is impossible to stay in the house. We can have limited contact with the outside world but the work has to go on regardless. And we still need deliveries , but keeping away from the drivers . Much the same set up as when foot and mouth hit .
Hopefully we will all survive to look back on this in the future .
