End of an era

For my exercise today I ran to the end of an old pier. This is what it looks like there. A reminder that the world was once different; dominated by transporting goods on water.

People very recently started speaking of a new world we find ourselves in. Standing by the ocean catching my breath, I realised the great connective internet lacks the museum potential this wooden echo of a structure has.
