Old Friend

Over 45 years ago, my parents bought this guitar for by 15th birthday. I self taught myself to play because I could not convince my parents to arrange for lessons. For some reason, they thought it unwise as I was already taking private lessons for the violin, piano and voice! I can look back at their wisdom and appreciate it now.

I recently had new strings put on so that I could play and sing songs for my grandkids. It was fun today hopping on a zoom call with my grandsons. While they are off school, we are getting together on zoom to do story time, puppets and sing songs. My fingers are sore but my soul is happy to have made a reconnection with an old friend and share it with my grandsons.
